My husband and I are so NOT gala goers. But if I get to meet Lawrence Hill and have my books signed by him, we will be gala goers if only for this one night!
It happens tonight at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic in Lunenburg, NS. I am so excited! He’ll be selling his new book, The Illegal, and speaking and signing books! And hopefully allowing me to take a selfie with him!
As an added bonus, proceeds from ticket sales go to the South Shore Public Libraries projects. It can’t get better than that.

That’s a great event! I’m hoping to get a book signed for Meghan’s Christmas present. It might be the most treasured gift this year. Crossing my fingers it happens. I hope you had fun and got some books signed.
